Playthrough:

  • Initial Dream Sequence:

    • The player is sucked into the first dream, assuming the perspective of Nora's friend Aron, waking up in Aron's room in the friend area on the right side of the mansion.

  • Exploration and Key Search:

    • Explore Aron's room to understand Nora and Aron's relationship, find 1/2 key to unlock Nora's area on the left side of the mansion, and explore other rooms of Nora's friends to understand their perspectives of Nora and their relationships, including Nora's classmates and cousin. (Some are distressed, some cannot find ways to help, some try to communicate with Nora but are rejected. Aron, as Nora's best friend, also has his own troubles; he wants to help but doesn't want to be a dumping ground.)

  • Unlocking Nora's Area:

    • Player unlocks the hall and finds that Nora's area is locked, with the other 1/2 key just out of reach behind an iron door. The player needs to find a tool to hook the key. Then unlock Nora's area. At the same time, the player unlocks the door lock and key of this dream, key: an incomplete doll, needing to find limbs, eyes, mouth, and heart.

  • Confronting Shadows:

    • Player finds Nora in her room (windows sealed, afraid of light, self-isolating), explores Nora's area, and finds a totem of dolls in front of a tower door, deciding to explore the tower, but Nora shows fear of the tower.

    • Upon entering the tower, Nora and Aron are forced to separate. The player will control Nora's body alone to explore the tower area, facing Nora's shadows. Aron's voice will serve as a narrator, accompanying and encouraging Nora, but Aron's abilities are limited in some aspects, and helping Nora can only go so far.

  • Doll Key Parts Collection: Nora (player) needs to explore the 4 Nora Zones to confront shadows and find parts of the doll key:

Room1: Family gathering asked to speak by relatives -- doll mouth

Room2: Harassed on tram/public place -- doll eyes

Room3: Mechanical work in school classroom -- doll limbs

In the corner of the stairs has a small cat altar -- doll heart

  • Assembling the Doll Key:

    • Nora exits the tower, and the player regains control of Aron's body. Together, they come to the mansion door and assemble the doll to complete it, obtaining the key to unlock this dream's door lock.

  • Transition to Next Dream:

    • Player steps out of the door into the second dream. Nora looks longingly at the moonlight outside the door, smiles, and returns to the mansion, embracing her darkness. The candy of the first dream solidifies.
